‘Holidaze’ exhibition at Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center highlights vintage holiday objects through April
With the perfect holiday trifecta of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center has opened a new exhibit exploring decorations and other items related to those holidays, plus Easter.
“Holidaze” exhibition runs through April 5 and showcases things from the Heritage Center’s terrific collection of antique and vintage holiday-related objects.
Visitors have a chance to see the fledgling Collegeville Costume collection, delicate and beautiful antique blown glass Christmas ornaments, an egg-cellent scratch egg collection for Easter — and of course, much more.
The Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center at 105 Seminary Street, Pennsburg, is the regional history museum for the Upper Perkiomen Valley. Exhibits are on view Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm and Sunday from 1 to 4pm, and admission is free. For more information on upcoming programs and exhibits, visit schwenkfelder.org
