A Schwenksville man was among two people arrested after Lower Salford Township Police allegedly found them hiding inside a condemned home during a burglary investigation last Wednesday morning.

Jason Adam Lombardi, 52, of the 300 block of Main Street, was charged May 6, 2026 with felony burglary, felony criminal trespass, conspiracy, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and related offenses connected to the incident at a vacant property in the 900 block of Harleysville Pike.

According to the affidavit, police responded around 9:06 a.m. after a complainant reported two individuals being dropped off outside the abandoned residence, which had previously been condemned by Lower Salford Township zoning officials. Officers arriving at the scene allegedly found the front door and a nearby window partially open.

Police said officers repeatedly announced themselves and ordered anyone inside the structure to exit, but received no response. Investigators alleged one man wearing a black sweatshirt and a headlight was seen running from the kitchen toward the garage area while ignoring commands from officers.

After police established a perimeter and searched the residence, Lombardi was allegedly found hiding underneath boxes inside a small garage room, according to court documents. Officers later located a second defendant, Kevin Patrick O’Brien, of Plymouth Meeting, allegedly hiding inside a bedroom closet.

Police alleged they recovered a black backpack containing DeWalt tools bearing another person’s initials, along with screwdrivers, crowbars and other tools commonly associated with burglary activity. Investigators also alleged O’Brien possessed suspected crystal methamphetamine and admitted some items found in his sweatshirt had been taken from inside the residence.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records and information provided by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office
