Troopers said DUI-related crashes were up this year over last year
Across the Commonwealth this past Memorial Day weekend, Pennsylvania State Police investigated a total of 756 crashes that resulted in five deaths between Friday and Monday, which is a decrease from 849 crashes and six deaths the same time last year.
Troopers said DUI-related crashes were up this year over last year — 57 to 40. Furthermore, DUI arrests were up this year from 2024: 519 to 456.
