Classic cars, community spirit, and charitable giving come together to benefit a young child in need on June 6
Car enthusiasts and community members alike will gather for a night of engines, entertainment, and empathy at the 16th Annual Frank H. Martin III Memorial Car and Truck Show, hosted by the Trappe VFW Post 7155 at 201 W. 3rd Ave., Trappe Borough.
The "Under the Lights at Trappe VFW" event is set for June 6 at 5 p.m., with rain dates scheduled for June 13 and June 20.
This annual showcase of community spirit promises a dazzling array of classic and modern vehicles, professionally judged for their craftsmanship and style. Judging will conclude at 7:30 p.m., with trophies awarded for the Top 25 vehicles and the coveted Best in Show.
Registration runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., but any cars arriving after 7 p.m. will not be eligible for awards. Day-of-show registration is available for $20.
While the cars take center stage, the true highlight of the evening is the community’s shared commitment to a good cause. All proceeds from registration fees and donations will go directly to support Avery Glennon, a young child in need.
Spectators are welcome to attend for free, enjoying not only the impressive vehicles, but also the food and beverages available for purchase.
For those looking to make a bigger impact, sponsorship opportunities are available.
A $20 donation gets your name on the event T-shirt; a $50 donation includes a free shirt along with T-shirt recognition; and a $75 donation offers bolded T-shirt recognition and a free shirt.
Sponsors can reach out at 610-454-9950 or drop off donations at the Trappe VFW.
Whether you’re entering a car, supporting a child in need, or just coming to enjoy the show, this community event offers a perfect blend of engines, entertainment, and empathy.
