Rain or shine, the vibes are fine at the Madison Street brewery, which serves food, craft beer and cocktails
If the forecast is looking dreary, don't fret — the scene at Well Crafted Beer Co. in Lansdale is anything but.
This weekend, it's time to trade your umbrella for a pint glass and catch a pair of live shows that promise both groove and good times.
Whether you are ready to shout requests or ride the golden road to unlimited devotion, Well Crafted has your weekend soundtrack covered.
Friday – SideArm (Free Show)
Kick things off on Friday night with SideArm, a local trio that thrives on the unexpected. This band has been building a unique repertoire driven entirely by fan requests, digging deep into the vault for a playlist packed with surprises and sonic twists. Think of it as a jukebox where the needle’s guided by crowd energy — no two sets are the same, and that’s exactly the magic. The show’s free, the beers are flowing, and the stage is set for a night that’s just as likely to get weird as it is to get wonderful.
Saturday – PURE JERRY ($15 Tickets)
If Saturday finds you still searching for that elusive ripple in still water, look no further than PURE JERRY, a powerhouse tribute that does not just play the music of Jerry Garcia — they channel the feeling.
With a rotating cast of musicians bonded by blood and brotherhood, this group is more family than band, and their mission is simple: recapture the moment when the music first moved your soul.
Fronted by Michael Sanfosso, whose vocals and tone echo Garcia in uncanny fashion, PURE JERRY’s live show hits every corner of the Garcia galaxy. The first set dives into Jerry Band classics and deep cuts, and the second turns into a full-blown Grateful Dead celebration — complete with Rhythm Devils-style percussion jams and enough groove to keep you dancing past the encore.
Expect detours into Dylan, Allmans, Motown, and more. It is the next best thing to catching the Dead at the Fillmore ... minus the time machine.
The "grateful" family band consists of father and sons, cousins, brothers, longtime friends and crew, with combined lifetimes of Grateful Dead experience and pedigree. PURE JERRY is the band to which you listen.
Other bandmates include drummer Chris Mufalli, of New Jersey; singer Cynthia Bagola, of Ambler, PA; keyboardist and vocalist Bob Albasi, of New Jersey; guitarist Raiden James, of Mt. Airy, Philadelphia; drummer Josh Petrauskas, of Bally PA; bassist Kris Kehr, of Leesport, PA; and house engineer Tom Hoffman, of Philadelphia.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for ticket holders, but the taps and kitchen are open beforehand — come early, claim your spot, and settle in with dinner and a drink or two before the lights go down.
Whether you are a Deadhead veteran or just curious about catching some lightning in a bottle, this is the show to see.
Tickets for PURE JERRY are $15 (plus $2.85 Eventbrite fee) and available now: Grab yours here.
