The spirit of patriotism and community will be on full display this Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, as the 2025 Collegeville-Trappe Memorial Day Parade marches through Trappe’s Main Street in honor of those who gave their lives in service to the United States.
Led by Kline-Styer-McCann VFW Post 7155 in Trappe, the annual parade is a long-standing tradition, welcoming all area residents, organizations, and businesses to participate. The event serves as a tribute to fallen military members and also as a vibrant celebration of community life.
Parade Route and Start Time
The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Augustus Lutheran Church on Seventh Avenue and proceeds down Main Street to First Avenue, ending at the entrance of Waterworks Park, where post-parade events will be held.
More than 50 groups and individuals are expected to participate this year, including veterans, military personnel, nonprofit organizations, Boy and Girl Scouts, service clubs, marching bands, dancers, antique vehicles, and creatively decorated floats. The lively procession typically involves over 500 participants, with thousands of spectators lining the mile-long route.

Community members are encouraged to join in. Anyone—or anything—that can walk or roll a mile is welcome, including bikes, animals, and even inanimate objects. Those interested in being part of the parade, volunteering, or supporting the event as a vendor or sponsor can sign up using online forms available on the event website.
Remembrance and Community Celebration at Waterworks Park
