Two exciting events are set for May in Lower Frederick Township

Two exciting events are set for May in Lower Frederick Township, including a fire company Cornhole Tournament.

First, Lower Frederick Fire Co. hosts its Spring Cornhole Tournament at its firehouse at 137 Spring Mount Road on Saturday, rain or shine.

Registration guarantees participants four games with more games possible based on successful play.


    


Food, beverages, air mail 50/50 and raffles will be available for purchase.

The cost is $40 per team ahead of time, and $50 on the day of the event.

There are three options to sign up and pay for the event:

  • Online at www.lffc52.org and clicking the “Sign Up” link and receive a Venmo code
  • In person on any Thursday night between 6:30 and 7 at the firehouse
  • Call or text for other arrangements at 484-977-0694.


Then, the fire company hosts an annual blood drive in memory of John "JD" Detweiler on Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the social hall.
