Citizens Bank Park will have additional bells and whistles after Phillies home runs in 2025.
The Phillies held their annual "What's new at the ballpark" event Friday at Citizens Bank Park. Perhaps the most notable update ahead of the stadium's 22nd season is the glowing Xfinity logo that's above the retired numbers of Steve Carlton, Roy Halladay, Robin Roberts and Jackie Robinson. Phillies Nation's Ty Daubert got this shot of it:

According to the Phillies, this is what the "home run takeover" will entail:
"Every Phillies home run will trigger a custom light show that will illuminate the ballpark – foul pole to foul pole. At the center of it all is a new, supersized Xfinity logo in right-center field that pulses with color during each celebration. Located next to the Phillies’ iconic Home Run Bell, this new feature adds an unforgettable spark to every big moment."
This is the latest in a series of updates in recent seasons at Citizens Bank Park as the Phillies prepare to host the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.
The Phillies will begin their 2025 home slate against the Colorado Rockies Monday at 3:05 p.m. ET, with Cristopher Sánchez set to take the ball in the first game at Citizens Bank Park this season. That will kick off a six-game homestand at Citizens Bank Park, with three games against the Rockies before the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers come to town for a trio of tilts.
