A Chester County man has been charged with felony drug possession for having crystal meth and MDMA on him after being stopped by Pennsylvania State Police for driving erratically in Skippack Township.

State police at Skippack charged Justin Bielawski, 38, of the 200 block of East 10th Street, March 4 with possession with intent to deliver, as well as misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to charging documents.

On March 4, at 12:29 a.m., police were patrolling Collegeville Road at the intersection with Landis Road in Skippack, when a white 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was seen crossing over the double-yellow lines multiple times, police said.

The driver, alleged to be Bielawski, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and failed to use a turn signal to turn right onto Landis Road, police said.

The car was stopped and the trooper asked Bielawski to exit the car, per the affidavit. Bielawski had a knife in his jacket pocket and brass knuckles in his pants pocket, police said.

Bielawski was arrested for prohibited offensive weapons, police said.

During a search of Bielawski, police allegedly found a clear baggie containing crystal meth in his front jacket pocket and another baggie with a yellow powder, which field tested to be MDMA, per the affidavit.

Police said there were 33 grams of crystal meth and one gram of MDMA.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
