Get ready to rock — live music is returning to local parks this summer as both Lower Frederick Township and Schwenksville Borough launch their free concert series packed with great tunes and community spirit.

Schwenksville’s Music in the Meadow Begins Wednesday

Schwenksville Borough’s “Music in the Meadow” series will start the season off strong on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Meadow Park, located behind 300 Main Street.

Headlining the evening is Hopwood, a five-piece rock band from Royersford, ready to bring down the house with hits spanning from the 1970s to today.

The show will open with young talent from the School of Rock, setting the tone for a summer filled with music, community, and family fun.

Lower Frederick’s Concert Series Kicks Off June 26

Lower Frederick’s Park and Recreation Board will open its 2025 summer concert season on Thursday, June 26, with a high-energy performance by The Left Edge at Cuddy Park, 102 Colonial Drive in Perkiomenville. The show runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and admission is free.

Known for their pitch-perfect renditions of classic rock legends, The Left Edge delivers dynamic covers from iconic acts like The Beatles, Beach Boys, Eagles, Billy Joel, Styx, the Monkees, and more. In case of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for July 2, with updates posted on the township website and Facebook page.

On July 31, with an Aug. 7 rain date, Smooth Riders perform covers of Dave Matthews Band songs.

The Mighty Manatees then bring their awesome sound of reggae, country, blues, funk, folk, ska

Both communities invite residents and visitors to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and enthusiasm to enjoy these free outdoor performances.
