Police have staged near the Naceville Hotel in West Rockhill Township Wednesday afternoon
Numerous SWAT officers, police agencies and tactical teams are staging near the Naceville Hotel on Ridge Road in West Rockhill Township Wednesday afternoon for a report of an active shooter, according to multiple reports online.
Police have shut down Ridge Road in the area of County Line Road and Allentown Road as of 1 p.m. There is a heavy police presence.
Witnesses online reported a man was shooting out his car window on Ridge Road near a construction zone shortly around noon.
More than 20 police vehicles have passed by their homes or while in traffic, including unmarked vehicles, Pennsylvania State Police troopers, and responders from Pennridge Regional, Limerick, New Hanover, Lower Salford, and Douglass Township police departments, per eyewitness reports.
Grand View EMS was called to the scene at 12:34 p.m. to stage for a police incident, according to Bucks County emergency alerts.
Neighbors in the area told North Penn Now that state police informed them there is no danger to the public and no need to shelter in place, as of 2:30 p.m.
