Schwenksville Borough will close out its summer concert series with a high-energy performance by the River Dawgs, bringing their Philly-powered western sound to scenic Meadow Park on Sunday, Aug. 25.

Described as delivering “an eclectic array of songs,” the River Dawgs are expected to bring a unique vibe to the free, family- and pet-friendly concert. The show will start a half-hour early due to the earlier sunset.

In addition to the live music, Boy Scout Troop 105 of Schwenksville will be on site selling food, offering concertgoers a chance to support a local organization while enjoying the evening outdoors. Details and menu info are available at troop105.org.

The concert will take place behind Schwenksville Borough Hall and Community Center at 300 Main Street, nestled between the Perkiomen Trail and Perkiomen Creek. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the open space for dancing, playing, or simply relaxing.

The borough offered a “big shout out” to the sponsors making the 2025 concert series possible, including DJM - Design Cad & Coordination Services, State Rep. Matthew Bradford, Univest Financial, Perkiomen Bicycles, Schwenksville Dental Care, and nearly two dozen others.
