Schwenksville Borough is set to begin two major infrastructure improvement projects this July, with planned upgrades designed to improve both roadways and pedestrian safety — while also enhancing stormwater management throughout the area.

Starting Monday, Summit Avenue will undergo a transformation with the installation of new sidewalks, creating safer and more accessible routes for pedestrians.

Later in the month, on July 28, Third & Maple Streets will be milled and repaved, improving the driving surface and extending the life of the roadway.

In addition to these primary improvements, both projects will include critical stormwater enhancements aimed at reducing runoff and increasing long-term infrastructure durability.

These projects are made possible through grant funding secured by the Borough, helping to maximize local tax dollars and invest in meaningful upgrades for the community.

While construction may cause temporary inconvenience, Borough officials emphasize the long-term benefits and appreciate residents’ patience during the process.
