Wilson also faces three misdemeanor charges of conspiracy to illegally sell firearms, per court documents.
The investigation began in December 2023, when Montgomery County Adult Probation and Parole conducted a home visit at Wilson’s home and found numerous items used in the manufacturing of privately made firearms aka ghost guns, according to authorities.
The parole department contacted Montgomery County detectives, who obtained a search warrant, where further evidence was found of firearm manufacturing, police said.
A search of Wilson’s property found tools needed to privately manufacture firearms, numerous personally-manufactured firearm lowers, multiple magazines including three drum mags, and two fully-completed ghost guns, authorities allege in a news release.
Police said there were multiple photos of completed guns being offered for resale. A search of Wilson’s phone found various text messages related to the availability and sales of firearms made by Wilson, police said.
“The defendant created and distributed firearms,” said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele in a news release announcing Wilson's arrest in November. “Since privately made firearms have no serial numbers, this makes them virtually untraceable and poses a serious danger to the safety of our community.”
