An inmate at Montgomery County Correctional Facility is facing charges of aggravated assault, aggravated harassment by a prisoner, and recklessly endangering another person for allegedly throwing feces at a corrections officer.
Justin Janaitis aka Justin Dudley, 38, of the 500 block of Church Street, Norristown, was charged Jan. 2 by Montgomery County detectives with the incident that occurred at the Lower Providence jail on Nov. 11, 2024 at 7:38 a.m., according to court records.
On that day, a correctional officer was on duty inside the jail and conducting a routine tour of a housing section of the facility, police said. As the victim made his way toward the exit, he noticed a strong odor of fecal matter, per the affidavit.
At that time, Janaitis allegedly threw his feces from his cell, yelling “Eat my s---!” and the feces hit the officer on the right side of his face, head and torso. The victim immediately received medical treatment.
