More than $35K stolen from pizza shop in overnight burglary, police said

Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack are investigating a report of a burglary of a pizza shop in Salford Township on Jan. 2, in which $39,000 in cash was stolen. 

Police said forced entry was made into Laura's II Pizzeria & Restaurant on RIdge Road, which was discovered at 9:14 a.m. 

The investigation is ongoing.
