Car engulfs in flames outside Royal Farms Tuesday afternoon

Multiple fire companies battled a car that was fully engulfed in flames outside the front entrance of Royal Farms at 207 E. Main St. in Collegeville Borough Tuesday afternoon.

According to Montgomery County dispatch reports, firefighters immediately checked for a fire extension into the business upon arrival around 12:50 p.m.

There were no reported injuries. Everyone was safely out of the vehicle, per reports.

Responding units included Collegeville Fire Co., Perkiomen Township Fire Co., Upper Providence Township Fire Co., and Lower Providence Fire. 

It is unknown at this time how the fire began.
