Pennsylvania State Police made the announcement Tuesday morning.
Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack announced an upcoming DUI checkpoint for the weekend of Jan. 31.
Police said the sobriety checkpoint will occur between Friday, Jan. 31 at 10 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3 a.m. on Route 73 near Evansburg Road in Skippack Township.
The checkpoint, conducted by members of Troop K, will identify and remove impaired, drunk and drugged drivers from the roadway, police said.
