Upper Providence Township Police are accepting resumes for one full-time patrol officer to join its ranks.
Applicants must be a current certified police officer in Pennsylvania. Upper Providence is seeking a driven police officer who wishes to serve an incredibly supportive community in a diverse, ever-growing residential and commercial environment, enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania fairly and impartially.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and respectful demeanor, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and exercise sound independent judgment in emergencies and routine situations. The candidate should expect to work 12-hour shifts in a team environment, rotating between days and nights every month.

Officers achieving their top salary in 2025 will earn $114,892. The starting salary depends on previous law enforcement experience (officers with less than a year of experience will begin at $89,740 in 2025).
Candidates must be able to pass an interview process, background investigation, polygraph examination, medical examination, drug screening, and psychological exam.
