Shotgun, rifle stolen from elderly man's shed, police say

A shotgun and a rifle were stolen from an Upper Salford Township man’s storage shed in September, Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack reported this week.

Authorities said a 91-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Cooper Lane reported that the items were stolen Sept. 11 out of a shed behind the home.

One of the stolen guns was described as a “Springfield Armory Krag brown wooden handles with black metal” and the other gun was listed as brown wooden handles with black metal. State police have contacted the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division in the incident, per the report.
