Lower Frederick Township Police issued a community notification Tuesday.

  • Public Safety

Lower Frederick Township Police has notified residents of a rash of vehicle break-ins in neighboring municipalities and urged them to be vigilant and protect themselves from becoming victims.

On Tuesday, the police department issued a community notification via Facebook. Police reminded all residents to take the following steps:

  • Lock their vehicle and remove all personal items
  • Leave exterior lights on during the evening hours
  • Call 911 immediately if anything appears suspicious. DO NOT call the police department office, as officers on-duty will not receive the information in a timely manner, due to patrolling neighborhoods.
