The Quilt Show at the Montgomery County 4H Center in Skippack will feature several exciting rooms to explore.
The Homemakers Country Quilters Quilt Show will be held at the Montgomery County 4H Center, located at 1015 Bridge Rd, Skippack Township, on April 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., benefiting the Farm, Home and Youth Foundation.
This annual event will showcase more than 100 quilts created by the guild’s members, offering visitors a chance to see a wide variety of handmade quilts, including a stunning hand-quilted king-size Civil War quilt, which will be raffled off during the event. Each block of the quilt represents a different Civil War battle, making it a remarkable piece of history and craftsmanship.
The Quilt Show will feature several exciting rooms to explore. The Recycle Room offers an array of beautiful fabrics and sewing notions at significantly reduced prices, while the Button Room is sure to delight enthusiasts with its vast collection of buttons.
Visitors can also check out the education room, where charity quilts made for the Ronald McDonald House will be on display, showcasing the guild’s commitment to giving back to the community.
Additionally, the Challenge Room will display creative interpretations of a specific theme, as envisioned by guild members.
