Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack reported Tuesday that a house was egged last month in Perkiomen Township by unknown vandals.

Police said the damage was estimated at more than $1,000. The home is located on the 20th block of Greenshire Boulevard and the incident occurred in the overnight hours of Jan. 13, police said.

Egg residue stained the victims' front exterior walls, windows and roof, police said.

The criminal mischief incident remains under investigation.
