Redner’s Save a Tape Program benefits Collegeville Fire Co.

Collegeville Fire Co. is a participant in the Redner's Save a Tape Program.

Those who shop at Redner's should consider signing up for a card to use when shopping for groceries. Shoppers can save their receipts and drop them off at Collegeville Borough Hall.

From there, the fire company can then turn the receipts in for cash.

Collegeville Fire Co. seeking volunteer recruits

Collegeville Fire Co. is currently seeking people interested in becoming a hero, while having a flexible schedule. The fire company is completely volunteer.

Anyone who may fear running into a burning building should know the fire company also needs administrative help and more.

• Free Classes: The company offers free classes three Mondays each month on various topics,
• Free Training: The company will pay for the firefighters to attend more formal and extensive training at the county fire academy.
• Free Gym Membership: Active fire company members are able to use the Company gym
