Police investigating more than $20K cryptocurrency fraud incident

Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack are investigating a report of theft by deception and wire fraud involving a 74-year-old female victim in Upper Hanover Township and cryptocurrency.

Police said the victim of Burgundy Circle reported that $26,832.50 in Bitcoin was stolen from her on Jan. 13. 

The investigation is ongoing.
