Resul Mustafa Ozdemir, of the 1000 block of Pinegrove Avenue, admitted to assaulting four victims between 2013 and 2022 in Lower Providence, Pottstown, and Upper Merion
A Hatfield man residing alongside Oak Park Elementary School pleaded guilty Wednesday to four of 86 child sex crimes committed between 2013 and 2022 on four underage victims and awaits sentencing in November.
Resul Mustafa Ozdemir, 26, of the 1000 block of Pinegrove Avenue, will be sentenced Nov. 19 by Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Risa Vetri Ferman. All other charges were dismissed by prosecutors.
Ozdemir pleaded guilty to felony charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and three counts of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old.
He was initially charged with five felony counts each of the following offenses:

Furthermore, Ozdemir was also charged with six misdemeanor courts each of indecent assault by forcible compulsion and indecent assault by threat of forcible compulsion, as well as 12 misdemeanor charges each of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age and indecent assault without consent of the other person, according to court records.
Lower Providence Township detectives said the assaults occurred between 2013 and 2022 on Chaise Lane in Lower Providence Township, at a residence in Pottstown, and at locations in Upper Merion Township, New Hanover Township, and Upper Providence Township.
When the rapes began, Ozdemir, a Methacton High School graduate, was 15 years old, police said.
Ozdemir has been jailed at Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $500,000 cash bail since November. He is represented by Norristown public defender Eric Donato.
