This week is all about good vibes with live comedy, country line dancing and a feast for your tastebuds. There is even something for theatre and art lovers to enjoy.


Comedian Andy Woodhull, who has appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “Conan,” “Live at Gotham” and “The Half Hour” on Comedy Central, will be bringing the laughs this week at the Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia.


Plenty of good eats will also be available at Upper Gwynedd Township Parks and Recreation’s Unity for Kindness Food Truck Festival.


Don’t miss a chance to see The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson at Playcrafters in Skippack Village or Mark Sfirri’s exhibition “The Flower Show” at the Michener Art Museum.


This Sunday Funday stop by Four Mills Nature Reserve for an afternoon of food trucks, craft beer and live music presented by Wissahickon Trails. If you are looking to kick up your heels a little, then be sure to head to Crossroads Fellowship Church in Willow Grove for a night of line dancing.


If car shows are more your thing, then also check out Horsham VFW Post 9788 Auxiliary’s Heroes & Hotrods Car Show. Federated Church Women’s Ministry is also hosting a special Women’s Tacos and Trivia Night in Springfield.

On Sunday, May 4, 4 p.m., Andy Woodhull will be bringing his unique brand of comedy to the Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia.

Woodhull has appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “Conan,” “Live at Gotham” and “The Half Hour” on Comedy Central.

Unity for Kindness Food Truck Festival

 

On Saturday, May 3, 11 a.m., Upper Gwynedd Township Parks and Recreation is hosting its Unity for Kindness Food Truck Festival.

This special festival to celebrate kindness and diversity is back. Enjoy live music, a poetry contest, inspiring speakers, and delicious food trucks.

‘The Revolutionists’ at Playcrafters

 

The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson will be performed by Playcrafters in Skippack Village until Saturday, May 10.

This contemporary play by Gunderson brings back to life Marie Antoinette, Olympe deGouge, Charlotte Corday and Marianne Angelle for brutal conversations about their lives during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror.

Mark Sfirri: The Flower Show

 

You have until Sunday, May 4 to experience a special exhibition by Mark Sfirri at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown.

Called simply “Flowers,” Sfirri’s exhibit showcases his botanical sculptures made from exotic wood.

Wissahickon Trails’ Craft Beer by the Creek

 

On Sunday, May 4, 12 p.m., bring the family for a fun afternoon of food trucks, craft beers and live music at Four Mills Nature Reserve & Barn in Ambler.

Tickets are $15 per person (13 years old and up). Proceeds will support Wissahickon Trails and the local environment.

Country Line Dancing at Crossroads Fellowship Church

 

On Saturday, May 3, 7 p.m., Crossroads Fellowship Church in Willow Grove is hosting a fun night of line dancing.

Don’t forget to wear your cowboy boots for a night of fancy footwork country style. Tickets are $12 at the door.

Post 9788 Heroes & Hotrods Car Show

 

On Saturday, May 3, 8 p.m., Horsham VFW Post 9788 will be holding its 2nd Annual VFW Post 9788 Heroes & Hotrods Car Show.

Registration is $20 and awards will be given for Top 30, Best of Show car, truck and new gen, Ladies’ Choice and Vets’ Choice. The awards ceremony will start at 3 p.m.

Women’s Tacos and Trivia Night

 

On Friday, May 2, 6 p.m., Federated Church Women’s Ministry is holding a Women’s Tacos and Trivia Night.
