State Rep. Joe Webster, D-Montgomery, invites residents to his 2025 Senior Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Hall D, 100 Station Ave., Oaks.
Webster will be joined by officials from numerous county, state, and federal agencies to provide residents with information about services and programs geared toward seniors and caregivers.
"I’m excited to hold this event for our community’s older residents and caregivers,” Webster said. “Each day, my dedicated team connects seniors with services they need and assists with Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications, SEPTA senior fare cards, disability placards, securing food vouchers and other essential programs.
“Having federal, state, county, and local agencies all in one place means our seniors can ask questions and find the answers they need quickly and conveniently."
Agencies from Montgomery County that are attending include the Prothonotary, Treasurer, Voter Services, the Office of Aging Services, District Attorney’s Office, Clerk of Courts, Department of Public Safety, and others. Staff from the office of Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, and Public Utility Commission will also be on hand.
Seniors and caregivers are invited to pre-register for the free event at 2025 Senior Fair or by calling (484) 200-8263.
In addition to the informative sessions, a License Plate Restoration Event will take place during the fair from 11 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of Hall D at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. This special event is designed to help seniors ensure their vehicle license plates meet current legibility standards.
Please note that registration for the License Plate Restoration Event is separate from the general fair registration and is required by calling the district office at 484-200-8263. Those interested in signing up should have their driver’s license number, title number, VIN, license plate number, registration plate style (standard, personalized, military, special fund, special organization), and registration expiration date ready to share over the phone.
