Authorities say Brian Entenman had to be tased after spitting blood and urinating on a victim
A York, Pennsylvania man has been accused of spitting blood at a Plymouth EMT and resisting arrest by Pennsylvania State troopers to point where he had to be tased inside a Skippack Township this week.
Brian Scott Entenman, 42, was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault with bodily injury and misdemeanor counts of defiant trespassing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct in the incident, according to charging documents.
On Tuesday, at 3:30 a.m., troopers responded to the 1200 block of North Grange Avenue in the township where a caller reported Entenman was intoxicated and having a violent episode, according to the affidavit.
Troopers and an EMT with Plymouth EMS found Entenman in a bedroom, where he was allegedly visibly intoxicated, agitated and laying on his bed covered in blood and vomit.
Entenman was encouraged by personnel to accept medical treatment from Plymouth EMS for possible alcohol poisoning, and he responded by kneeling up in bed and allegedly intentionally spitting in the direction of the EMT, causing blood to spatter onto his uniform.
Troopers attempted to place Entenman under arrest, but he began resisting, pulling his arms away, and refusing to be put into handcuffs, police allege in the affidavit.
Entenman allegedly raised his fist in an attempt to hit a trooper, but he was hit with a taser, allowing police to place him in custody. While in handcuffs, he continued to resist arrest and had to by physically restrained, police said.
He was placed on an EMS stretcher and taken to an ambulance, police said.
Authorities allege Entenman pushed and shoved one victim and then exposed his penis and urinated on another victim.
Entenman is at Montgomery County jail on $20,077 cash bail, which includes a probation/parole detainer. A preliminary hearing is set for May 7 at 10:15 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Adam T. Katzman.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
