The incident is under investigation and the car is orange
Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack are seeking an orange 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat SRT that was stolen by unknown thieves last month on Kratz Road in Skippack Township.
Police reported Tuesday morning that troopers responded to to the property on March 16 at 5:24 a.m. via a call from the 54-year-old property owner, who reported his car was parked and locked in a grassy area beside his driveway, according to a public information release report. However, the car was stolen without forced entry or key access, police said.
The car was last seen by the owner the night before at 11 p.m., police said.
A canvass of the scene and area found no signs of forced entry or security camera footage, but a discarded E-ZPass transponder was in the grass, police said. It had been ripped from its interior front windshield mount, police said, and was collected as evidence.
The Charger was entered as stolen into the national database.
