Landowners in Lower Frederick Township interested in preserving their land for future generations are invited to apply for open space preservation.

The township’s Open Space Program is currently accepting applications from interested landowners who want to explore preservation options.

All information submitted will be kept strictly confidential, and the application is non-binding.

To apply, landowners are asked to provide the following details:

  • Full legal names of all owners of record, along with their relationships (e.g., husband/wife, siblings, partners)
  • Tax parcel numbers
  • Total acres per parcel
  • Amount of acreage currently in active forest, active farmland, and/or open fields


Completed applications can be emailed to manager@lowerfrederick.org or mailed to the Lower Frederick Township Open Space Committee at Lower Frederick Township Municipal Building, 53 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473

After the application is received, a member of the Open Space Committee will reach out to schedule a meeting.
