El Limon Lansdale is excited to invite the community to a vibrant and fun-filled Cinco de Mayo celebration on Sunday, May 4 along the 300 block of Madison Street from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This family-friendly event will feature a thrilling taco-eating competition, with local contestants devouring 15 tacos to win the trophy and bragging rights for the year. Last year's champion Christian McDonald-Chiazzese will defend his title.

There will be facepainting by Dyanna Bo Bana, a piñata, and games for the children. DJ Zogi will be spinning the best Latin hits all afternoon.

Attendees can also enjoy delicious offerings from local favorites, including El Limon's Mexican food, Well Crafted Brewery, Fiesta Churros, and Boardroom Spirits.

The festivities will be a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Mexican culture with great food, drinks, and entertainment.

New Event Venue in Town Debuting This Summer

In addition to the festivities, El Limon Lansdale -- which was named Best Mexican Restaurant in Montgomery County for the second year in a row by Montco Happenings -- is proud to announce the upcoming opening of an adjacent event space, set to debut in Summer 2025.

This new 1,100-square-foot venue will provide an exciting opportunity for private gatherings, celebrations, and community events, further expanding El Limon's commitment to bringing people together. It will be available for your private party needs, from lunch meetings and dinner buffets to fully-catered-and-serviced special occasion events.

In addition, ideas are being discussed for hosting activities like game nights or special community celebrations.

“Ada, Pedro, Josue, and I, are thrilled to share the exciting news about our new event space,” said Antonia Rowan, co-owner of El Limon Lansdale. “Our Cinco de Mayo celebration is about the beauty of Mexican culture, food, family, and fun. We can't wait to see everyone there!”
