Lower Frederick Township is looking to collect – or make copies of – historical photos of the township.
Photos or copies can be dropped off or mailed to the township building at 53 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
The postcard above is a view of the Spring Mount train station, which was a part of the Perkiomen Railroad. This station would have been close to Joe’s Spring Mount Hotel at the Station Avenue entrance to the Perkiomen Trail, which was constructed on the railroad track bed, according to the township.
