  • Things To Do

Lower Frederick Township’s Fall Festival comes to Foy Park on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. The event, sponsored by the township Park & Recreation Board, features Moccia’s Train Stop & Downtown Scoop serving food throughout the day. Other things to do include face painting, rock painting, hayrides, a make and take bouquet bar, moon bounce, kayaking, bungee trampoline, rock climbing, and an inflatable obstacle course.

 

Collegeville Fire Company’s annual Hero Run 5K takes place Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Collegeville station behind Collegeville Diner. Registration starts day of the event at 8 a.m. No cash accepted. Race fee is $25.


Evansburg Vineyards, 3857 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, holds a Trivia Night at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The brain-teasing fun occurs every week at the vineyards, with rotating themes each week.


Pennypacker Mills, 5 Haldeman Road, Schwenksville, invites the community to gather around the campfire for spine-tingling ghost stories by storyteller and author Charles J. Adams III on Saturday night at 6:30. Adams is an expert in local legends and wrote the book on Montgomery County Ghost Stories. Guests should bring a blanket or chair to sit on during the performance. Ages 13 and up recommended.
