A Harrisburg woman free on bail in an Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County felony shoplifting incident was nabbed last month in New Jersey on an active warrant in a separate Warrington Township, Bucks County theft case.

Warrington Township Police said Devin Ashley Bair, 43, of Harrisburg, was one of two people who entered the Wegmans at 1405 Main St. in Warrington on June 18, 2024, and split up.

Bair, police allege, selected numerous grocery items, including Red Bull, and placed them in a cart. She then met up with the other person and then they left the store with $343.35 worth of merchandise.

Police on July 5 charged Bair with felony charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property, per court documents.

On the same day, Upper Providence Police charged Bair with felony retail theft and misdemeanor receiving stolen property for an incident that allegedly occurred May 21, 2024, according to court filings.

Police said Bair was taken into custody in Deptford, NJ on Aug. 12.

Bail in the Upper Providence case was set at $2,500 unsecured at an Aug. 23 preliminary arraignment, per court documents. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 22 at 10:15 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Cathleen Kelly Rebar, per court documents.

Bail in the Warrington case was set at $20,000 unsecured at a Sept. 11 preliminary arraignment, per court documents. A preliminary hearing on the Warrington case is set for Oct. 28 at 9:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman in Bucks County district court.
