One vehicle crashes into pole on Pawlings Road Friday night

Pawlings Road is shut down between Audubon Road and Station Avenue in Lower Providence.

A vehicle crashed into a utility pole in a two-vehicle accident on Pawlings Road, north of Camiel Road, Friday evening in Lower Providence Township, sending at least one person to an area hospital.

According to Montgomery County emergency radio traffic, at least two people needed EMS treatment.

Montgomery County Emergency Operations posted on its WebCAD that Pawlings Road will be shut down between Audubon Road and Station Avenue until further notice.

The Jeep sustained front-end damage, and the sedan sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash, which occurred shortly before 6 p.m.

Lower Providence Fire Department and Lower Providence Fire Police are at the scene, along with Plymouth Community Ambulance.
