Collegeville Economic Development Corporation’s Collegeville Colossal Yard Sale brought thousands out to Waterworks Park on West 1st Avenue in the borough on Saturday.

Mallie’s Burgers and KONA Ice were on hand to provide food and refreshments.

According to its website, the event features over 80 sellers, food, and a large playground area for kids.

The sale is laid out along tree-shaded, and paved paths. The sale is handicapped accessible, and free parking for shoppers is available on the park’s large playing field. T

The annual event has attracted over 3,000 shoppers.

“All of our sellers and shoppers loved the shady surroundings, and shoppers walked away with hundreds of terrific bargains. This annual town yard sale has become one of our most popular events!” said CEDC President Cathy Kernen.

Proceeds from the Yard Sale benefit the non-profit CEDC, which works to promote businesses in the Collegeville area and organizes fun events for area families throughout the year.
