Police: Injured puppy found on Germantown Pike, owner sought

Lower Providence Township Police are attempting to find the owner of a puppy that was found injured on the side of the road.

A black and brown puppy was found Tuesday morning with a serious injury to its leg, police said.

Officers found the dog on Germantown Pike near Evansburg Road, police said.

At present, the puppy is recovering from treatment at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, police said.
