A yellow and red 2021 Pequea HR1140 rotary hay rake, valued at $9,000, has been stolen from its concealed location in an agricultural field in Upper Frederick Township last month.

Pennsylvania State Police said the 76-year-old owner said the hay rake was parked against a fence row and concealed in bushes in an agricultural field he rents on Big Road.

The rake was last seen on Aug. 10 and was discovered stolen Sept. 8, police said.

Authorities said the rake was entered as a stolen vehicle and the case remains open, pending further investigation.
