Montgomery County first responders were dispatched to Worcester Township on Tuesday evening for the report of what appears to be two different call-outs for one, multi-vehicle accident.
The first call from witnesses came into the 911 center at 6:29 p.m. on Tuesday night who reported a three-vehicle accident. The witness said that there were injuries. The location was noted as Water Street Road near Valley Forge Road.
According to the county’s dispatch system, another Traffic Incident call came in around 6:34 p.m. for both fire and emergency medical services. The call reported the accident in the vicinity of the 3000 block of Stump Hall Road near Valley Forge Road and Hollow Road.
Pennsylvania State Police Troopers at the scene did confirm to Perk Valley Now that the incident was one in the same, and did involve a total of three vehicles.
Witnesses in the second, later call stated that a truck has rolled over and is blocking traffic. The truck appeared to be flipped. Those at the scene at this accident said that the driver was up and out of the vehicle. The extent of the driver’s injuries were unclear at this time.
At least one vehicle was towed from the scene. A black, Chevy SUV was on the scene with serious, back-end damages.
Responding to the first Water Street Road at Valley Forge Road accident call were Plymouth Community Ambulance Association, Worcester Fire Company, Lower Providence Fire Department, and Pennsylvania State Police, among other units.
Reporting to the extended scene of the second call, also on Stump Hall Road were Skippack Emergency Medical Service, Inc., Worcester Fire Company, Lower Providence Fire Department, and Pennsylvania State Police, as well as local fire police and other assisting units.
