Feline Frenzy Thrift Shop & Adopt will close its doors at its North Wales location at Sunday at 5 p.m.
A Facebook post by Feline Frenzy said the landlord is selling the building "so out we go."
Thus, in its final weekend, the no-kill nonprofit feline rescue is holding a Bring-Your-Own-Container (BYOC) event where shoppers can fill a trash bag, tub, box - anything that can be a container - for $5.
Feline Frenzy is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Sunday at 107 S. Main St., North Wales Borough, the former home of North Wales Pharmacy/Genuardi's Pharmacy.
According to the post, the thrift shop and rescue has its location in Skippack at 4038 Skippack Pike. Donations can be dropped off at that location.
Since opening at its North Wales location in March 2023, Feline Frenzy has rescued more than 300 cats.
Feline Frenzy is a no-kill shelter for kittens and cats that have been rescued and surrendered. The cats live cage-free at the Skippack adoption center, and lived cage-free at the North Wales location.
At present, Zillow shows the parcel off the market, with a value of $555,000.
According to Montgomery County property records, the C-Commercial-zoned building has been owned by Luba Ouhryn of Huntingdon Valley since buying it for $340,000 in 2015 from Ted and Bonnie Knauss.
