Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) has announced $11,837,112 in state grant funding for more than two dozen infrastructure-related projects across the 12th Senatorial District.
“Investments in local infrastructure are critical to making our communities safer and more attractive places to live, work and play,” Collett said. “I was proud to support this robust funding to restore aging roads and bridges, expand recreational opportunities, upgrade outdated school facilities, and make other urgent improvements while boosting our local economies.”

Ambler Borough – $1,000,000 for Wissahickon Fire Company Renovations
Hatboro Borough – $818,377 for improvements to Memorial Park
Hatfield Township – $500,000 for electrical work at the Hatfield Public Safety Facility Site
Hatfield Township Municipal Authority – $250,000 for electrical systems upgrades
Horsham Township – $76,275 for a new emergency management vehicle
Horsham Water & Sewer Authority – $175,070 for a crane truck replacement
Lansdale Borough – $390,212 to install a comfort station at Whites Road Park
Lower Gwynedd Township – $704,424 for improvements to Ingersoll Park
Lower Gwynedd Township – $451,312 for the Traffic Signal Modernization Improvement Project at the intersection of Penllyn Pike and Trewellyn Avenue
Lower Moreland Township – $140,000 for the preliminary design of the Bethayres Streetscape
Montgomery County (Upper Moreland Township & Bryn Athyn Borough) – $500,000 for a portion of the construction of the Cross County Trail East
Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority (Worcester Township) – $200,000 to install a shade structure at the Meadowood Bocce Courts
Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority (Montgomery Township) – $750,000 for Mitzvah Circle facility renovations
Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority (Upper Moreland Township) – $318,000 to purchase and install two pavilions for the Willow Grove YMCA
North Wales Water Authority – $350,000 for warehouse improvements
Upper Dublin Township – $500,000 for the installation of a sewer main
Upper Moreland Township – $102,000 to complete renovations of the Springhouse Building at Farmstead Park
Worcester Township – $111,442 to upfit two vehicles with dump truck bodies
Worcester Township – $200,000 for engineering costs associated with the replacement of the Kriebel Mill

Eastern Center for Arts and Technology – $575,000 for an HVAC improvement project
Hatboro-Horsham School District – $575,000 for a roof replacement project at Hallowell Elementary School
North Penn School District – $575,000 to replace two boilers and the air conditioning system at Penndale Middle School
Souderton Area School District – $1,000,000 for HVAC equipment replacement for Souderton Area High School Oak Ridge Elementary School, and Vernfield Elementary School
Souderton Area School District – $1,000,000 for HVAC, bookers, plumbing, and energy savings projects at West Broad Street Elementary School
Upper Moreland Township School District – $575,000 for a roof replacement project at the Upper Moreland Primary School
Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Local Share Account funding provides financial support for projects in the public interest across the Commonwealth. The Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program – also administered by the PA DCED – provides grants to public school districts and area career and technical schools for eligible facility improvement projects.
