The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Thursday that Prestige Property Partners LLC will continue performing utility construction on eastbound Little Road in Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., eastbound Little Road is scheduled to be closed and detoured between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Simmons Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 29 (Gravel Pike), Route 73 (Big Road), and Perkiomenville Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Prestige Property Partners LLC will complete this work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
