Reading can do great things - and for one elementary school student, it meant a special police escort to school.
Lower Providence Township Police said Woodland Elementary School student Grayson Lenox was a top fundraiser for his school's annual Readathon.
So, in recognition of his accomplishment, the police department escorted Lenox to school last week.
Young readers like Lenox dream of big successes and awesome careers.Some may dream of being a police officer one day.
Lower Providence Police wants to make it a reality, as applications remain open until Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. for a full-time police officer position in its ranks.
