Police: More than $60,000 in jewelry and gems stolen last summer in Perkiomen Township

Pennsylvania State Police announced this week that tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry were stolen from a Perkiomen Township home last summer.

According to WFMZ, more than $61,000 worth of 14-karat gold pieces containing diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethysts, topazes and pearls were stolen from a couple as they moved in to a new residence on June 28, 2023.

The theft, police said, occurred on the 800 block of Welsh Road.  

No suspects have been identified as of Wednesday, police said.
