The Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center, 105 Seminary Street, Pennsburg, PA, is pleased to announce the eleventh annual Penn Dry Goods Market event on May 31 and June 1, 2024. The event, the Heritage Center's largest event and fundraiser, features a remarkable antiques and vintage textile show with top antique dealers along with programs on historic textiles presented by nationally recognized speakers.
The 2024 Penn Dry Goods Market has also secured sponsorships for the event. Sponsors include the Delaware Valley Historic Sampler Guild, along with a special friend of the SLHC, Jeffrey S. The public is invited to attend Penn Dry Goods Market and enjoy the antiques exhibitors, textile programs, and view exhibits. The special quilt exhibit, "Tribes", on loan from the European Patchwork Meeting, Alsace, France, will be the only US venue for the exhibit, and is sponsored by Byers' Choice.
Local food businesses that have provided products are Freddy Hill Ice Cream, Herrs Chips, Landis Market, Redner's Market, and Weiss Market.
Admission to the Penn Dry Goods Market Antiques Show & Sale is $9. Advanced registration is $8. Preregistration for the individual textile lectures is available at www.schwenkfelder.org/program-schedule-registration or by calling 215-679-3103. The individual lectures are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event.
