For four hours in September, Collegeville’s Waterworks Park will transform into one Colossal Yard Sale.

According to Travels With The Post, the town’s annual free Colossal Yard Sale, sponsored by the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation, takes place Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is free parking and handicap accessibility.

Anything used or new can be offered for sale, as long as it is in the bounds of good taste, per the article.

Reserve a space at the Colossal Yard Sale here. Cost is $40 for a 10-foot-by-10-foot space, up $5 from last year. Any vendors with a truck will be charged for two spaces, and three spaces with a truck and trailer, according to the event website. Payment will be collected the morning of the sale.

The event is expected to draw about 3,000 bargain hunters to the park at W. 1st Avenue. All proceeds from the Yard Sale benefit the nonprofit CEDC, which promotes businesses and runs family events year-round

According to the Collegeville EDC, the event boasts 80 sellers set up along tree-shaded, paved paths, and there will be a food truck serving coffee, pastries, fresh breakfast sandwiches and lunch items. Children can be entertained at a large playground area.

“All of our sellers and shoppers loved the shady surroundings, and shoppers walked away with hundreds of terrific bargains. This annual town yard sale has become one of our most popular events,” said CEDC President Cathy Kernen on the event’s website.
