A 21-year-old Harleysville man was cited for speeding after a two-vehicle crash on Skippack Pike the morning of June 21, which also possibly injured a 37-year-old Harleysville man.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident occurred in Skippack Township, east of Store Road at 10:23 a.m. and involved a 2019 BMW X2, driven by a 21-year-old Harleysville man, and a 2018 Ford Transit Connect, driven by the 37-year-old man.

Police said both drivers were traveling west on Route 73/Skippack Pike, when the driver of the Ford slowed down due to traffic congestion. Police said Tien Hung Nguyen was driving too fast in the BMW, and he hit the rear of the Ford in the right lane of the road.

Both drivers moved their vehicles to an adjacent parking lot prior to police arrival.

Police said both also refused medical transport.

The speed limit on Route 73 in Skippack is 35 mph.
