Pickup truck driver hits maintenance shed at Salford park before fleeing scene

Pennsylvania State Police are seeking the driver of a dark blue Chevrolet pickup truck that hit a maintenance building at a Salford Township park and then fled the scene.

Police said the hit-and-run crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. June 13 at the Tylersport Community Park, 139 Ridge Road, where the Salford Township maintenance building sustained damage.

The crash, police said, was heard by a neighbor, who witnessed a white male behind the wheel, and watched the truck leave the scene on Ridge Road.

Police are prepared to file charges of accidents involving damage to unattended property, per the complaint.
