A Skippack brewery is offering up beer for a year to one local lucky dad as part of its partnership with 92.5 FM XTU’s “Dad of the Year” contest.

Brothers Kershner Brewing Company will award one grand prize winner in the contest sponsored by “The Andie Summers Show” on the country radio station, per its website.

Nominations were whittled down to five dads, who also won tickets to the radio station’s 2025 Anniversary Show and a VIP Experience with singer Lainey Wilson.

Each finalist, per the website, wears a T-shirt with a QR code on it. The dads will wear the shirt to The Anniversary Show, where people will scan the code and vote for the dad to win the station’s “Who’s Your Daddy Flyaway” contest, according to the site.

Basil and Kevin Kershner’s brewery/taproom/beer garden is located at 4119 West Skippack Pike. Call them at 610-222-2739. Hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
